Forgot to add, if Woody Allen is considered powerful, does that mean you consider Dylan and Mia Farrow powerless? How many powerless alleged victims do you know who can air their untested criminal allegations because they have a family friend who works for the New York Times and can run those criminal allegations in a national news outlet such as a blog in the New York Times? And how many has a mother who is Hollywood royalty (daughter of director John Farrow and actress Maureen O'Sullivan) and the ex-wife of Sinatra and Andre Previn. If you want to take away a person's reputation and livelihood and ruin them, you'd want to make sure your accusations are based on verifiable and tested facts and due process has taken place. And it shouldn't matter if the person's a famous director or an unknown working class spouse accused of serious criminal but untested sexual molestation. Justice and due process should be accorded equally.

You might want to check your own facts. I did read your post and you came across a hypocrite. Did he murder someone here? If not, why bring the comparison up? Are you accusing him of being a pedophile because Dylan said so? Please provide proof that he did what you said he did because that is some serious criminal allegation you're accusing someone of. You're saying he did it because the alleged victim could never lie or coached into believing her version is the truth as it's now twenty years ago and she's repeating the same allegations? That it's never possible that the ex-lover might have interfered with any of the evidence to get back at her ex in their custody fight over their three children, two adopted (Moses and Dylan) and one biological, Ronan (or maybe not as Mia now claims Ronan might be Sinatra's because she was still have a sexual relationship with Sinatra when she was with Woody). The oldest of the adopted children of Mia and Woody, Moses Farrow, who was fifteen at the time of the custody battle, recently came out to say Mia brainwashed them into believing there was molestation involved. He had an affair with their adopted sister so why not think he would molest another adopted sister right? So what if Dylan came out and made the same accusations twenty years later as her mother made in a Vanity Fair years earlier? Does that suddenly become truth and doesn't need to be be tested in a court? If the allegations get repeated enough then it becomes truth is that what you're implying? If you had stuck to criticizing Woody for having an affair with his lover's daughter or that he was sick to be having a sexual relationship with his adopted children's and possibly biological son's sister you'd have no argument here. You went further than that with serious criminal allegations. You also dragged people like Cate Blanchett who had no part and no business in the family's melodramatic mess into the fray and basically demanded outsiders to take sides, but only if it's your side, under the figleaf of feminism. You went on about Ronan's tweet during the Golen Globes. Have you ever wondered why Mia and Ronan should act so surprised and offended during the Golden Globes when Mia herself gave permission to the event organizers to play clips of her in Woody's movies? She gave permission and sat through the event tweeting about how offended she was that he was being recognized-why participate/cooperate in the event by allowing your footage be played at all if you're supposed to be disgusted? Mia claims she's against child abuse, but after watching Piers Morgan's interview with Sam Geimer, the 13 year old minor who was raped by her friend Roman Polanski - who was actually convicted by a court of law for drugging and raping a minor and then fleeing the American justice system, Mia's a hypocrite. She testified for Polanski back then claiming he's an important figure in the film industry, and again years later in his court case against Vanity Fair. She's not only silent about Polanski but awfully quiet about her own brother John Charles Villiers-Farrow, a pedophile convicted by the court of law for molesting young children. For someone who is vocal against child abuse you'd think she'd be consistent in her condemnation, especially against those who have been TRIED and CONVICTED of the same crime she claims Woody has committed.

Unless, you're one of the parties involved, it's difficult for anyone outside to ever know the truth. So after reading Mia's more recent interview in a Vanity Fair article, the piece alleging abuse by Dylan on Nicholas Kristof's New York Times blog, the reply by Woody in the New York Times, Moses Farrow's defence of Woody in People, Robert Weide's DailyBeast post at http://www.thedailybeast.co..., and Patrick Perion's opposing view to Robert Weide's at http://thedailybanter.com/2..., the public's no closer to the truth. Dylan might be a victim, but a victim of which party we'd never know.

Let us talk about the ways the courts often don't prosecute wealthy and powerful men when rape charges are brought to them.

Has he been charged and found guilty? Hmmm didn't think so. Between the opposing camps of 'yes he molested Dylan, (Dylan and Mia Farrow) and 'no he didn't molest Dylan' (Woody Allen and Moses Farrow), the public are supposed to be bullied into being judge, jury and executioner of Woody because to do otherwise is to be accused of supporting child molestation? Geez, why do we need courts for anything when we can just employ public opinion to suss out the truth right?! Or maybe, just maybe it might be a tad bit fairer to have these allegations tested in the proper channel, you know like a court of law? i.e. before a judge and jury? Heck, you can even have these allegations tested in a civil case in the civil courts where the threshold test is much lower than in a criminal court. Instead, the public gets subjected to repeated allegations every couple of years when one of Woody's films get award attention. No one knows whether the man's guilty or not because these allegations were raised during a custody battle between Mia and Woody and remain contested and untested. If you want to do justice to the feminist cause, stop hijacking the term and actually apply a bit of intellectual rigor to your argument. You sound like one of those Salem witch hunters yourself.

Well I think its not wrong to have many clothes! I go to nudist beaches and own loads of clothes (at least for a guy). and most of them werent cheap either! When your nude you look good how you are but not all cloth fit well :( and thats why we get so cautious of what we wear!! being nude is easier :P

There are some tantalizing ideas in this paper, indeed. The gender role reversal as a defense/response to harassment, turning the tables on the overt/excessive masculinity of the participants - yet done with a hint of irony due to the nature of the games themselves.
"[...]while a text may be addressed to men we as female readers we can construct a space of which resists the dominant culture" is a salient point as well, taken with the former attitude it may go some way towards illuminating the female psychology in an FPS world traditionally presented as a boy toy. Certainly I can identify with percieving myself having carved out a space in an unwelcoming environment because there are elements buried within it I find value in. That sort of describes my relationship with America, in fact, and while the Marxist p.o.v. you reference before it would argue I'm complicit in the abuse, I think this quote hews closer to reality.

There's other stuff I could add but basically I think you did a great job and it's got me thinking :)
